Meet up at Willamette & Franklin in the park. Participants of all ages are invited.

The Great American Cleanup is the nation’s largest community improvement program that takes place annually in an estimated 20,000 communities nationwide. At Mid Shooks Run Community Garden, we actively participate in the Great American Cleanup by lending a helping hand in cleaning up the Shooks Run creek. As stewards of the environment, we understand the importance of preserving the natural beauty of our surroundings.

Join the fun and give a couple of hours to cleaning up the creek, commune with nature, team up from friends, neighbors and family. We supply the trash bags, you pick up the trash. Sign up here for Middle Shooks Run park (area 1-127), or simply show up from 10:00 to noon, at the Middle Shooks Run Neighborhood Association table at the corner of Willamette and Franklin (in Middle Shooks Run Park). The MSRNA table is located at the corner of Willamette & El Paso St in North Shooks Run Park. Pick up supplies and safety tips there.

Please wear sturdy shoes and work gloves if you have them, and sun protection.
